I took ABC Broadband connection in 2010 and discontinued in 2011. I cleared all my dues at the time on disconnection. But, in 2013, I received a call from ABC Broadband lawyer in Delhi that I have outstanding dues from ABC Broadband of 2800 rs. If I don’t pay the bill in 1 hr, the case will move to the court. I live in Bangalore.
I called up ABC Broadband customer care. they told me that there is no usage so no need to pay the bill. but I got a call again after few days, from ABC Broadband, that I haven’t paid the bill for 1 month that was 1400 including tax and there is a late payment charge of 1400 rs extra. so the bill is 2800. I never needed to maintain the track record of my bills so far, so for ABC Broadband also I didn’t track it.
I asked them, why they took so long to get back to me for which they had no answer. They told me that they had called me one or two times in 2011 but I my cell was switched off. I told them that they could have emailed/sms me for which they had no answer.
