I had very bad experience with ABN amro card.
I took this in 2001 and spend more than 3 lakh within one year. They really dont have any mechanism to identify potential customer who can give more profitable business. I never pay card bill in part and never revolve the credit. But they started to charging late payment fine.
I asked them to cancel the card as I was not satisfied with their service. Then they start to calling me not to cancel. I asked them why should not cancel, what the difference they are giving me? They are unable to give any satisfied answer. Finally after giving written letter and threat to go to consumer court they cancel my card. but I continue to receive statement every month with fresh late payment fee etc up to next one year until I went to consumer court. After getting notice from consumer court they settled all thing.
It was really a nightmare form me for whole one year, getting threatening call etc.
I suggest never ever think to get their card....
