I am having a different experience with ABN Amro. First of all I dont have any credit cards of the bank, so no experiences or greviances there, but I am having a savings account with the bank which is now upgraded to preferred banking.
When I asked why, then said it was linked to my husbands companies current account and hence the upgradation. With the preferred banking I get a different customer care phone nos, where some customer agent picks up the phone within 3-5 rings. Additionally you dont have to do through the length IVR system, so its a relief, because all you have to do with the customer agent who picks the call is tell her your customer id pin and address and your details are verified.
Additionally they give you cash drop and cash pick up facility form your registered address within the same working day. So I call in the morning, I can get cash delievered to my house before 3pm the same day. Actually that is one experience which I particularly liked very much. And since I use the atm at Indiranagar on the 100 ft road, I never find more than 1-2 guys waiting before me, so again the waiting at the atm is very less as compared to citibank atm on the same road, where the waiting period is huge.
So in my experience I give the bank thumbs up.
