I bought a Zen from ABT in 2004 and the sales team was excellent, Unfortunately I didn’t inquire the price from other maruti dealers and ended up paying 10K more. They fitted a Kenwood Maruti music system+ 2 Speakers for 14K, after one month I was getting some strange noise from the speaker, Which I got fixed by Maruti Service Masters.
Check the price from various dealer before Buying, Bought a Wagon R recently and got a Pretty good deal from Indus Motors and Khiviraj Motors chennai. I went for Indus motors, B’coz Khiviraj tried to cheat my friend with some stupid speaker when he paid for Sony.
Real nature and ABT was revealed when I went for my first service . They did not do a proper work and the service office people were worse than Govt office Babus . I was waiting there for 1.5 hrs and all the said was "Please wait, we’ll call your name", I don’t know what those A H*’S thought of me. May be they thought I’m a car driver and not a owner . But even a driver deserves a better treatment.
From my second service I take my car to Maruti service masters.
Some Sales traps. Think twice before you go for it .
> Under Body anti rust coating . Not required, Car company have already done those paint works, may be you can do it after a year or two .!
> Teflon coat. I saw them doing it and it looked more like wax polish .!
> Maruti Remote Lock and Anti theft alarm is not all that good, Get it fixed outside there are other good brands like Piranah etc., you can call them, they will come to your home to fix it, Any repairs within waranly will be done at your door step.
Spend about 3-4 hrs talking to all dealers for Price, rebates etc and certainly you’ll see a lot of difference. My personal Exp ABT gave the least rebate about 10K. Indus motors gave the Max rebate 22K for the same model of the car!
