The laptop is great in terms of design. Looks good too. The functional keys are well thought of; for example, the web browser can be loaded by just pressing the web browser key on the keypad. The wifi and bluetooth keys are super easy to use too.
The volume control is also manual and very effective.I face a lot of laptop overheating problems in my Acer Aspire 4530.Recently, I’ve been having a lot of trouble with the LCD monitor; seems like a cable problem. The webcam stopped working within a month of purchase.
I reckon this was again to do with the cable connection between the unit and the monitor, since the webcam is mounted over the screen.The International Travellers Warranty is surprisingly applicable only within 1 yr of purchase. Whats more is that you have to be in the country of visit for less than 3 months to be eligible for the warranty. Moreover, you must be only on visit visa and not on resident visa in order to claim repairs under warranty.Overall, not a recommended product
