Yet another review from me..This time I am going to tell you the pro’s and con’s of my new laptop, the ACER 5738G. Bought it around 1-2 months ago, so have used it before posting this review.
Cons:
1) The key are ’floating keys’ and can be uncomfortable for some people, though I found them very comfortable.
2) The body is glossy and hence can attract a few scratches.
3) Preloaded with windows vista, so if you hate vista like EVERYONE, you have to convince the dealer to load XP, although the laptop supports almost all xp drivers, except the finger reader.
Pros:
1) The awesome power of the system!! It has a 15.6" screen with a Core 2, 2.0Ghz Processor with 4gb DDR2 RAM, with a Nvidia Geforce G105M mobile video card.
2) It has a huge sata hdd of 320gb
3) But the best part is the numpad..... yes it actually has a numpad like a desktop computer, excellent for people using numbers regularly.
4) Finally, it has an awesome led display which uses less energy, and other usefull features like bluetooth, wlan, dvd writer, etc.
If you want a powerhouse system for around 38K, DONT LOOK FURTHER!
Would I recommend it to you?? HELL YA!
Would I buy another, if this one like fell in a gutter?? NO, I dont think I can afford it again! :P
