I bought this netbook on seeing its sleekness. The plus points are its light weight, high battery support (almost lasts for 4 to 5 hours after a good charging.The negative points are that the system is very very slow on start up. It takes almost (incredible) 6 minutes to come to a workable screen. The dealer said it is because of the Atom processor and the speed will be like that only. However with a broad band connection, the net speed is not bad and is comparable with any normal desktops.
Also the system gets heated up after an hours use and cannot be used on the Lap !!!The purchase price was about 17000/- Rs. and I feel it is not worth the money because of the poor audio system. Repeated audio card changing by the authorized service dealer is not successful and they do not care. (They returned the unit after 2 months without correcting it and refused to give a letter indicating that it is not repairable !!!).
And finally one word of caution : "It is made is china" and hence I am afraid any Acer product is reliable henceforth
