This is a review for my company provided ACER-KAV60 netbook.It has all the qualities which I was looking for in my netbook.I will try my best to give you all a first hand experience of using this fantastic device.
LOOKS & FORM FACTOR:-It has very nice looking and well laid out keyboard with good quality keys, which sound great during typing.The screen resolution is great and the portability of the device is cool.It weighs only 1.3 kgs and has a screen size of 10.1(LED) .apart from that it also has in-built webcam and 3 usb ports.Not to forget the ethernet port.Inbuilt bluetooth and wi-fi(802.11b/g WLAN).
Technical Specifications:-It comes with Intel Atom processor with processing power of 1.66 Ghz & 512 KB cache , 667 Mhz FSB.It has a mobile intel chipset with in-built graphic accelerator and sound card.Web cam is inbuilt which is optimised for low light video chatting.Memory is 1 GB DDR2, With 250 GB HDD with 5400 rpm speed.
Connectivity:- Inbuilt WI-FI , Bluetooth, and usb ports lend this netbook features which are great.It has two ports for audio output as well (mic & headphone), inbuilt card reader is there too.
Software:- It comes pre loaded with genuine windows home edition operating system and MS Office for all your documentation needs.All drivers are provided with the netbook .And one can also spot the authetic seal of genuiness under side of the netbook.
Technical support:- I have been using this netbook for quite sometime now and it has not given me a single chance to complain.So, I have not yet called up the technical guy at acer.
Battery:- It is one of the most important aspect of any net book and acer dose’t disappoint in this dept as well , it has six celled Li-Ion battery with which one can run this netbook non stop for 5 hrs atleast.
