I am student of AIT (dept of mechatronics) in my penultimate year . I got my seat through CET and wasn’t really satisfied with the college in the 1ST year . As it went on , it started to become one of the best times I had in my life .
I was an avg student until the HOD Mr. Swamy introduced new methodologies of teaching , counselling sessions, technical sessions and I managed a score a distinction and the dept. had a record breaking result of 98.3%cleared, 96%first class and distinction . Apart from that specially in my dept , it’s like a family the faculty and students . Its undoubtedly one of the best dept’s of VTU and AIT.
AIT has one the best infrastructure , they don’t demand money unnecessarily , has really good sports facilities and more .
The only bad thing in the college is its cultural fest "acharya habba" apart from that lacks parking facilities (not allowed to park inside such a vast campus :( ), only one little canteen which can be rated average , some staff at admin dept are not that student friendly.
