Obviously she was visiting the Adidas showroom at Bandra. ;-)
Now that weve got that one little con out of the way, its time to run away with all the great things about this sports brand.
I bought my Adidas Climacools from the Bandra, Linking Road showroom. For me the shopping experience is almost as important as the actual product itself, so I have to congratulate Adidas for having a great showroom. All the shoes are neatly displayed with the price tags, the salespeople are very friendly and the entire atmosphere of the place is very conducive to that fine art of selecting a pair of shoes.
After roaming almost the whole of Linking Road (shoe paradise of Mumbai, one would say) and not finding anything appealing even in the Nike and Reebok outlets there, I finally got my perfect pair at Adidas.
The shoes itself are extremely comfortable, its like wearing nothing at all; apologies to the contact lens company who owns this tagline. The Climacool range has this thing called 360 degrees ventilation , wherein the shoe is perforated from all sides, including the sole, so as to give you maximum comfort and is a neat concept for our humid mumbai weather. I have got my shoes for almost a year now, and I am sure if I ever get down to washing them they will look as good as new. The material and workmanship is extremely tough and there is not a single tear or scrape on the shoes, even though I use them very frequently and roughly.
As for brand appeal and killer looks, you just can’t beat the Climacools. These babies were immediately spotted and received a lot of compliments everywhere I wore them.
I would definitely recommend Adidas and the long lasting and sturdy nature of this brand fully justifies the price tag. As for the lovely Adrienne Gusoff, c’mon lady – both you and me can afford it – so let’s go get ourselves another pair.
