I took a PL from ABF 1.5 years back, I was paying my EMIs on time as it was an ECS but after 7 months I started doing manual payments within 05th to 10th of the month as there was a problem with my ECS account. Also, I was sharing the timely screenshots of the payment done to the customer representative.
By mistakely, I did double the EMI payment in the month of Jan23 and was requesting a refund of the payment. I did multiple emails had a discussion with customer care 7-8 times but there was no proper revert as they were saying they received only one payment. Then finally I visited their Goreagoan office where I met one lady and on 23rd Jan and the double payment was updated. She also stated that she shall talk to the team for waive off my late payment fees charges as it was not my fault and she mentioned due to mails backlog and the payments backlog this situation their charges were applied and shall refund the amount, there is no need to come to the office now can contact
Again I started calling up customer care wherein they are now telling me we will not waive off the charges as it is valid charges. Also, he mentioned that there was a communication error from their side but however I have to pay the charges. Also, I told them if it is my fault then deducts my charges. But when I am not at fault I shall not be laible to pay such charges.
I also, told them to adjust the EMI in next month still they refuse stating that they will not waive off the charges.
Such a Stupidity of doing a fraud with the customer. They dont leave their 1 rupee but they do a fraud with the customer by applying and taking nonsense charges.
Request for everyone please do not take any type of loan from ABF
