Ive got into their Bachat Money Back Plan and am regretting my decision. The service is pathetic - there are no updates, no reminders nothing. I was bearing up with this but then the worse came up. I paid my policy premium 15 days before the due date. The BSL employee was so careless that he lost the cheque. Post 15 days when I found out my account has not been debited I was surprised and began to follow up. "Searching" was the answer given to me.
Ultimately they never found it and I had to issue a fresh cheque. In this process the due date had passed. Now they say the policy has lapsed and I should shell out charges to revive the policy. This is completely unfair. Which doors do I knock? Guys please beware before taking any policy from Birla Sun Life.
