I have purchased 32" LCD Samsung TV from Big Bazaar (Aditya City Center, Ghaziabad) on 28-Mar-2010.
At the time of purchase, big bazaar executive Shubham told me-"Sir, I can get this TV delivered and installed at your residence within 2 hours. Since it is 4 pm at present, I can get this task completed by 2 pm tomorrow if you purchase the product right now."
I purchased the product for Rs 29000/- and also booked a LG Fridge for 10, 490/-. But the Adity City mall did not deliver the product by 2:30 pm next day.
Another service executive Ashutosh told me that the delivery vehicle has already left by 2:15 pm. After several follow-ups and false commitments by big bazaar employees, finally manager Ashwini Srivastava told that its delivery vehicle had not come by 4 pm and he committed that it would be delivered by 5:30 pm. Finally the product was delivered at 5:30 pm. Now come the installation part. Even after elapse of 3 days, no installation service has bee provided despite several follow-ups with Samsung BPO, Samsung Service Center and Aditya City Center (Big Bazaar). Its manger Ashiwni Srivastava has stopped taking my calls now.
I suggest all of you to avoid Samsung products and Big Bazaar (Aditya City Center, Ghaziabad) for buying any electronic goods. If these vendors cannot provide the simple service of installing the product and they keep on making false commitments over timelines of delivery and installation, they do not deserve any sales.
