Adobe Lightroom is one of my favorite and the only one photo editing software I use for all my edits of all my picture taken using DSLR.
Help Functionality: This feature is very much useful if you are running software while online and it will take you to online Adobe website for any help required.
User friendly: This part is my fav. It is so easy to use: Given the shortcuts of imports/exports adding icing to the cake. Once loaded all your photos through import just develop it using the develop tab and apply all your basic configuration of exposure/contrast/luminescence/vignetting and many more.
Ease of Installation: It is easy to install like a regular software and I suggest to use the licensed version to get the benefits of up gradation.
Features/Functions: It is a very understandable GUI unlike other photo editing software. The filter functionality is awesome to sort out photos from a large chunk of 800-900 photos. You can easily sort the one’s you want by giving them rating which I use most of the time and filter my selection. Also the best feature of Lightroom is that it is a database! Yes you heard me right. It saves a copy of your photos with edits in its own library without taking any space of your hard disk. I don’t think any other software provide you this feature.
