Credit cards are really a very usefull thing if you have *controll* over yourself !!!
Having a card in pocket is like having somebody elses wallet. While spending it might be very easy , but the spent money should also be within your repayable limits.
Recently happened to spend about rs.33, 000 thru some odd purchases while I had been to Chennai. Then repaying the same seemed hell of a task.
A card can also be an helpful thing during crisis situation like when some near n dear is ill and needs medical attention, or to satisfy some inevitable needs ... etc.,
I may not be able to recommend you any card but personally I have Citibank card
