No refund- no reply from customer care

I have filled online proposal form (AEGON Religare Iterm Plan 513014004489 )and paid the premium but before going for any medical test, I decided not to go for Aegon looking at IRDA data of there poor claim ratio. Now I have continuously following up with their customer care to get my refund but no body is responding. I know how to deal with such persons but I want everybody else over here to be aware of these frauds. I feel very happy that I have finally not chosen this company.


I can see  their no response to my refund request which prove the kind of service this company can provide if chosen by mistake. I was having plan to buy multiple term plans for my family members but now Aegon will be not be a choice anymore, not now and not in future.

Dear Sir,You purchased 1st Feb, and we fixed your medicals for 5th Feb. In the interim you had a doubt on refunds in case you wanted to cancel so on 4th Feb we wrote a mail confirming that we will refund 100% of your premium in case you are not happy with the service and wish to cancel the policy prior to issuance. On 4th Feb evening you replied stating that you want to cancel due to the concern over claims. We replied on 5th stating that our claims ratio is 7 out of 8 claims settled. Only 1 claims was rejected because the customer was already suffering from diabetes, hypertension, kidney disease prior to applying for the policy but he did not disclose the same while applying for the policy. You did not revert to our request for retention. We again sent a reminder on 11th Feb which you did not revert to. Hence, we forwarded your policy for cancellation. Please be rest assured that your refund is processed and the same shall reach you within 7 working days.
