Currently going to russia from NYC and pciking out my flight. THANK YOU! Thank you for reminding me that I swore never to fly that airline again. Flying Finair will cost me $300 more and I was contemplating to Finair or not to Finair. Now that I relived all the warm memories Finair it is!
I fly back and forth every year or so. And every once in a while it happens to be Aeroflot. And so it was last time I flew. The line at the counter is rediculous. 1 desk, 5 extremely slow clerks chatting with each other chewing gum. Most don’t know how to make eye contact, briefly focusing on you only if you ask them to elaborate on a question. At that point you realize that you don’t want them to make eye contact with you they look at you with such content.
The service on the airplane was abominable as mentioned below. I had 2 carry ons and there was no room overhead. I asked one of the stuarts to help me and he told me that I had to endure an 8 hour flight with luggage stored below the seat in front of me. i’m 5’9. I’m never comfortable in economy to begin with. It wasn’t until a very nice man got up from my aisle and helped me find a vacancy above.
Food ugh. Service not existant . I think i’ll pay a little extra for respect and quality service I feel I deserve.
You have to relies something Russian know nothing about customer service not a zilch. They don’t have the western ’The customer is always right’ installed in their heads. All they understand is money. They will work just enough to get that money. Once you realize this simple truth close your eyes and try to pretend to have a pleasant time. And don’t try to change them you’ll have such a tremendous amount of dirt poured on you you’ll regret ever opening your mouth.
