Some days back I had to go to Canada and since no direct flight was available I took aeroflot that would take me from New Delhi to Toronto via moscow.
The flight was on time but the crew was not at all helpful. A lady asked a crew member help her up her handbag but the person refused. This is heights of indecency at least not expected from an airlines staff.
I asked for a blanket from an air hostess and she told me that there were none in the plane. I had to spend ten hours in cold and could not sleep properly courtesy aeroflot airlines. Well I dont think I had paid that less to not even deserve a blanket.
Next came the food. The crew person gave me non-veg food and when I told him that I am a vegetarian and don’t eat non-veg, he simply refused to give me veg.
I returned him the non-veg food as I couldn’t eat it. So that was my flight without any food and coziness. I later got to know that one needs to tell at the time of booking tickets if one needs veg food. And the travel agent who booked my tickets told me nothing in this regard. So I was not at fault. So take care in this regard if u r vegetaian and have to take such flights by any chance, just confirm all this crap.
None of the crew members looked after the comfort of the travellers. Even water was not served at regular intervals. Air hostesses were busy in their chatting ad cigarettes.
Even moscow airport gave the same feeling of shrewdness in the place . With shopkeepers busy smoking and taking no interest in customers. I had a ten hours stopover at the moscow airport which seemed to have no life.
Overall my first experience left me thinking ..ARE RUSSIANS COLD BLOODED WITH NO FEELINGS OF LOVE AND CARE or it was just a chance for me.
Apart from aeroflot I have taken KLM airlines and Kingfisher airlines and I greatly admire both.
Anyways, I am sure of one thing..never to take aeroflot airlines again and recommending my friends also against it.
