I moved my Swift LXI car from New Delhi to Hyderabad in Jul-Aug13. When I gave them the car, the car had a brand new Imported Parking Assist kit installed in it on 10th Jul13. The car was given to them on 17th Jul13. When the car landed in Hyderabad and was delivered to me, the kit was missing. It was an INR.9, 000/- worth kit.
Along with that, the fully functional seat belts and motors for the seat belt mechanism were replaced with older and non functional motors for the front and back seats. The seat belt motors kit costs another INR.6, 000/- along with installation charges. They charged me INR. 16, 000/- for the move, this was much more than the INR.8, 000/- that the other movers and packers had quoted, but I decided to go with them since they were claiming security of goods more than their competitors.
Their Country Head Mr.John, Head of Customer Care Mr.Chandrabhushan (very arrogant fellow) and their local contact Ms.Tejaswani have all been delaying a solution to this case in-spite of them being informed about this theft as soon as I took delivery of the Car.
I mentioned these losses to their representative too and made a note of the costly item missing in the delivery document. It has been more than a week since they last contacted me on this subject. Ms.Tejaswani called me stating that she could give me Max INR.2, 500/- for this as per company policy on 3rd Aug13.
SO I wanted to all their customers to know: when they ask these thieves to transport their vehicles, they could change the engine of their cars too and give them a maximum compensation of 30% of the engine cost as a settlement.
It also seems that their main business is not transporting goods but also stealing the goods and selling them as a side business.
