I chose Agarwal Movers & Packers (paying 12000/- more than their competitors) as it was a long distance shift from Gurgaon to Surat. While loading the stuff in Gurgaon, we were provided with Agarwal boys wearing their logo t-shirts & their supervisor SATYAWAN-an out & out greedy man who kept on asking us throughout, "Packing achchi ho rahi hai na, best co. hai". After loading the stuff the supervisor SATYAWAN asked us for the so called INAAM (FOR WHAT???). We refused him saying it’s mentioned in your quotation”Graft paid to anybody is an offence”.Here comes the reply from Mr.Satyawan;” Samaan surat tak pahuchane ki zimmedari humari hi hoti hai, kuch bhi ho sakta hai”. We called their office and they said;”khushi se de dijiye, ye to banta hi hai”.Scared! I gave them Rs.500 and he said;" Ek party bangalore shift hui unhone Rs.12000 inaam diya".
I got my stuff in 4 days and my experience with them got worse at the time of unloading in surat. Firstly their supervisor in charge was very rude and inexperienced. We kept on telling him to unpack the glass table top at last but he said, " Meri labour chali jaegi fir".
There was only one boy for unpacking the stuff.When we asked him to call more labor (as we were charged for it). He refused saying ;"Mai akele saara unpack kar loonga".When he started fixing our wooden heavy bed he just couldn’t figure out the way to do it and wasted 2 hours.Also he was just moving it randomly damaging the polish.We asked him to be careful but all in vain. The labor used for unloading was not from agarwal movers but was hired from local market which was disappointing.
The local guys were dirty and smelling like hell. They couldn’t fix one of our beds, for which we had to call a carpenter the next day and pay extra.We were hungry and tired throughout the day. A lot of our household articles got damaged which were under insurance from agarwal movers and a written request was given to them same day but till now there is no response for any repairs.
IT’S THE WORST COMPANY WITH POOR SERVICES.
I WILL NEVER SUGGEST TO OPT FOR AGARWAL MOVERS & PACKERS.
NOW I KNOW WHY THESE GUYS TAKE THE ENTIRE AMOUNT IN ADVANCE BEFORE SHIFTING
