I took Agarwal Packers and Movers services after meeting the Executive Called Dilli Babu, he came over to my house in Chennai and took my details. He then gave a quote on the spot. He seemed nice and supportive, stating, if we need extra boxes, we only need to call him. LIE NO.1. Then he promised that there will be a 2 door large truck as shown in the advertisement to pick up all our household items. LIE No.2. Then he said even we can transport your plants for FREE. BIG LIE No.3
They came on 15th Dec 2012, did the packing and only delivered my goods in Ahmadabad on 25th Dec 2012, Christmas Day, Like Christmas surprise they gave me the following good totally damaged!
1) 2 nos Porcelain Elephants from Malaysia broken into pieces - Worth RM1580 x2(Ringgit) = RM3160 equivalent to (Rs53720)
2) 1 Hanuman Photo frame glass broken
3) 1 Vinayagar Photo frame glass broken
4) 2 nos Pavai Statues broken - Worth RM240 x 2 = RM480 equivalent to Rs8160
5) 1 small porcelain elephant broken - Worth Rm110 x 1 = RM110 equivalent to Rs1870
6) Meerabhai Statue broken - worth RM370 x 1 = RM370 equivalent to Rs6290
7) Grandmother’s Photo frame broken
8) 5 pots of plants from Malaysia all missing or stolen
They did not bring a large 2 door truck, instead a small lorry. just enough to squeeze in half the load. We learned they did loading and unloading 4 time of all the goods. So the Porcelain elephant and statues were not just broken, but broken into million pieces. All these survived transportation on board a SHIP from Malaysia to India, BUT NOT THE MONSTERS called Agarwal Movers and Packers!!!! Please use other Movers and Packers.....or just make sure you video tape all the packing process and any de-commit they do on video proof.
