Now that the movie is headed towards being officially called a disaster, I think this is the right time for me to actually discuss about the movie and what went wrong leaving aside my personal bias towards paean Kalayan. I am also slowly coming to terms with the results of the movie.
Story is definitely not the problem. Movie had a solid story line which if involved gripping and tight screen play could have created wonders. Trivkiram chose to spoil it with cheap comedy.
Total plot fail there.
Screenplay killed the film. No correlation between many scenes and audience were left wondering about why a particular scene happened. A total mess up in screenplay.
What people expect from pawsn Kalayan and Trivkiram combination are elevation scenes and this movie had none. Fans and audience in general expected elevation scenes and they are robbed badly.
Songs were good but that has been applied again thanks to Pawsn Kalayan not giving lip sync. Blunder not taking care of it.
Fights were choreographed well and pawsn looked stylish in fights. Definitely a positive worth mentioning. Also, DOP Manikandan
He put his heart into the movie.
Minimum utilization of the villain who looked fantastic in whatever he was given and performed beautifully. Hero and villain only meet twice. Remember mukesh Rishi and kalyan’s encounter in Jalsa? ( Tonne lu koddi bayam) Major disappointment by under utilising the villain.
No idea why heroines were there in the movie.
All these things along with the illogical scenes it had makes this movie that you can avoid watching without a second thought.
