Beware of Agyaat !

This can’t be called a piece of art, for heaven’s sake ! Its high time that we realize that nothing comes cheap. We have to be creative to build something on our own and make something really good.

Movies shouldn’t be made for the sake of making movies. If one is short of ideas then he should sit quiet and keep thinking. This is because the director of the movie is the first person to realize that the movie is bad if it really is. Then the audience comes to know.

And Agyaat has crossed the limit of the extent to which a movie can be bad ! When I look back and think of Ram Gopal Verma’s earlier movies, I wonder what has happened to him? Whats so wrong with him that he is making these movies. Is it that he has an issue to settle with the audience and he taking revenge upon them in a mass scale ?#%!! But still whenever a Ram Gopal’s movie is out, the heart says lets watch it....who knows may be there’s something in it !!! But alas, one has always been let down off late.

For how many more days this act of copying from hollywood movies will continue under the cliched pretext that it was an inspiration and not a mere copy. And this becomes intolerable when a good movie is copied and turned into a horrible one. When I watched Laage Raho Munna Bhai I found certain things were definitely copied from the movie- Patch Adams by Robin Williams (A brilliant movie). But deep down my heart I knew that Laage Raho Munna Bhai was brilliant even though some ideas were copied. So as an audience I was satisfied.

But the case of Agyaat is totally different. The story is very bland and it goes on in a monotone. There is no element of surprise or twist. One can very easily guess that these people are going to the jungle and some agyaat spirit will haunt them. And it happens so. The people are afraid and sometimes running and sometimes fighting with each other. The central character (hero) is an irritating personally which irritates the viewer more than anybody. What the crap! There is no weaving of a story, no song at the right place, no logic behind so many things shown. The facial expressions of the actors were forcefully made to give the impression that they were getting scared.

Please don’t go and watch this movie and waste your precious money. Rather you will enjoy if you watch Predator a 2nd time or for that matter n no. of times.
