Another NEW

After a blockbuster, S J Suriya has came with one more NEW. There is no major differences between NEW and BEST FRIEND. Both are

  1. Focussed on youth audiences

  2. Vulgarity and double meaning dialogues

  3. Same type of Suriya acting

On the difference side, I just want to put only one thing - Graphics, which was not there in NEW. That’s the only difference.

There is nothing new to say about the film. So I don’t want to focus more on this film.

Story:

Like his regular films, this is also a light weight film. Siva(S J Surya) is in love with Madhu (Nila) and lives with her in a flat. They always fight even for small things but not at the bed room. Like many other Indian male, siva also hates his lover having boyfriend. Problem starts here and they goes seperate way. But their memories has taken human form and bringing them together. This is the stroy!!!!

To appreciate director Surya, I want to mention 3 things

Character Selection:

Santhanam - His acting is superb but the comedy are vulgar and dirty.

Urvasi - played as a psychiatrist. She is perfect in her time sense.

Mayilsami -   who tries to figure out the reason for Shiva’s odd behaviour.

Next flat old lady - I don’t know here name. But she did her job very perfect. And her reaction for Surya’s strange behaviour is only a decent comedy in this film.

But they are coming in few frames only.

Songs:

All are superb. A R Rahmans songs are wonderfully pictured by Surya . We must appreciate Surya for not including vulgarity in songs.

Ararai Kodi - picturised with more dancers like a super star song.

Maramkothiye, Mayiliragai - graphics based.

Thazhuvudhu Nazhuvudhu, Varugirai - ok.

Surya’s performance:

I won’t appreciate his acting. He has to improve a lot. But he does his fights and dances as good as any other hero.

With Surya, Rathnakumar has penned this vulgar dialogues. Surya used Nila only to expose her, not for acting. She must improve a lot at her acting. A R Rahman is the main backbone for the sucess of this film.

Nothing to say more about this film.
