Work as if you don’t need money,
Dance as if you are not being watched,
Sing as if you are not being heard,
And love as if you are not being hurt anytime….
Hello friends!!!
Here comes another review from snigdhandream….a simple review from a simple girl of simple movie….AHISTA AHISTA…
Sometimes in life you watch a movie…you don’t feel anything special about the movie at the time of watching, but once you go back to home, lay flat on your bed…think about the movie, you come out with a thousand things you want to discuss with someone.
Something of similar sort of situation was there when I came back from INOX after watching this movie…so lets have an look into the story…don’t worry guys…I am not going to tell the whole story…
Story…
This movie revolves around 2 major characters…Ankush (the character is enacted by Abhay Deol), and Megha (enacted by Soha Ali Khan).
Ankush is all alone in this world…stays with his friends at Delhi. He works as a marriage witness at a marriage register office with only 200 Rs as his fees for each witness he gives. All total he is happy with his life…loves the way he is leaving, friends around him, not wishing for anything more.
Then the character Megha enters into the story. She is a simple girl, ran away from her home at Nainital and came all that way to Delhi to get married to her all time love Dhiraj (enacted by Shayan Munshi) with her eyes dazzling with the sweet memories she had and with all those countless dreams about her life with Dhiraj.
There, at the marriage register’s office she met Ankush, never paid any attention to him cause her eyes were looking for the man she believed so much and came all this way just to lead a life with him. But he was not there. Still she was waiting for him. Waited till the evening, but he did not turn up. Ankush came there and helped her find out a place to stay the whole night.
The next day she came to the same place, waited there…all in vein…for 2/3 days she kept on coming there and waiting for her love. Tried his mobile number only to find it out to be switched off. Finally she assumed that Dhiraj had ditched her and Ankush arranges a job for her at an old age home. She needs some 10, 000 Rs for security deposit. Ankush lends this amount from friend and to return the money to his friend he needed a good job which can give him some more earning than his present job. So he joins some bank as an agent and due to his hard work and all ends up being an area supervisor.
In the mean time he falls in love with Megha and proposes her. She also agrees as there is no body to whom she can believe except Ankush.
Now there is a twist in the tale ...Dhiraj comes back and tells Megha that he was not a ditcher…he had some problem as he got arrested in a false case and so on. Once he was out of all these dangers, he came to Delhi and started looking for her.
So now….Megha is in confusion…what to do …what not to do…Dhiraj…the man she loved so much that she came out of her house leaving back her parents, just to lead a happy life with her…Ankush…the person she met during her toughest time and no body was there with her, he was the man who helped her out like a true friend…
Now you either watch it or you think about what was the ending of this story…
Now what I thought about this movie…
Well…I tried to place myself at the place of Megha and tried to think what I could have done…and finally I was left with a great confusion. The person whom I loved so much, is not a fraud at all…he just had some problem and now he is back with all his love for me…
On the other hand I have the man who helped me as if I was everything to him and at that time he was everything for me…Obviously Megha took a decision…I don’t know whether she was right or not!!! Who ever she chose, but the other person is always going to suffer…
The story was very simple…the characters were good…songs were pretty good, but I did not feel like the songs were necessary…neither I feel like watching the movie again. Somewhat boring while watching. If you think about it after watching you will be left at a place after which you cant even think further. Just an average kind of movie…I am just recommending this movie to watch if you have nothing to do in the weekend and you have time…then go and watch this movie…then don’t think anything about it…just leave all your thoughts at the cinema hall only. Come out of it…live your life as usual…after all it is just a movie…we have lot of other things to think about apart from this one. Our own confusions are that big to keep us busy for another week…till the next weekend we will get some other confusion to look after…that’s life dear…J
Feel free to drop any comments you have for this review…have a nice time guys!!!
