Air Asia came to India with a reputation of being the cheapest airline company in Asia, which it was but only outside India. In India, it’s no where near to cheap accept for the launch offers which they provided last year.
On an average ticket costs just as same as any other company in India. But the service provided by them is pathetic and is no where near to minimum standards. I’ll pay 1000 bucks more rather than traveling in Air Asia.
The air hostesses are not at all cooperative and provide wrong information on board. Last week while traveling from Bangalore to Chandigarh they said that the flight is about to land Chennai which is not expected from professional airline companies. Seats are also not very good with very poor leg space.
The ticket cancellation and refund process is also very tedious and they take about 1 month to refund back the money. They are very strict for baggage as well.
My verdict is please save yourself a trouble by booking other flight ticket rather than Air Asia.
