Late and uncomfortable journey

I dont have much experience with airlines because I have only flied for four times.


I booked the ticket on 27th july for the journey on 1st august from pune to new delhi. I had to pay rs.4949 even though they claim to be a cheap airline.


Punctuality: The flight was supposed to depart from pune at 17: 55 hrs and was supposed to reach new delhi at 19: 55hrs but it departed at 6: 45 hrs due to bad weather or something. Then again due to air traffic congestion it got delayed for another half an hour in the air itself. Again due land traffic congestion it was delayed for another half an hour and I reached delhi at 21: 50 hrs.


Check in counter: I tried to check in online and their portal randomly assigned me a seat. I tried changing it for a window seat and again when I refreshed it came back to the same seat, I tried doing that for atleast 10 times but failed. So I downloaded air asia app and tried to do that form the app but signing in the app was another mess. So at the counter I complained about it and they asked me whether I wanted a window seat, I said yes and they charged me rs. 240 for the window seat.


Comfort: The seat was really bad. It was reclinable to such a low extent that it wasnt helping at all. The space was so less that every time I wanted to go to the loo I needed to make the other two passengers to get out of their seats. It was really embarrasing.


Staff: The only thing that was good about air asia was the staff they were really helpful as every other airlines’ staffs are.


I had a hotel booking in new delhi and because of the flight I had 2 hours less in the hotel.


Really a bad experience.
