I have booked tickets for me, my wife and an infant through aircosta almost 3 months in advance from Hyd - Tirupati round trip since it was the best deal. I should have checked the reviews which would have saved lot of money then. There are lot of issues with the way Air costa handled these issues -
Exactly the day before the travel we get an SMS after 09.30 pm( when most of us may have slept) just saying flight from HYD-TIR was cancelled, sorry for invenience. There was no mention of any alternative arrangement, refund, what about return journey the day after. Really no concern for plans made by their customers, atleast they should show some concern for those who are senior citizens, travelling with children.
Then I tried calling the number on their website aircosta-hyd-airport ticketing counter - 91-89780 81308 which doesn’t exist anymore. These folks are not courteous enough the call about the last minute cancellations, atleast be aware of putting right numbers on your website. A company managing a fleet of buses does a much better job.
I found another number on their website, through I which I managed to get hold of after 30-45 mins. The person said the flight was cancelled due to some operation issues, and not any weather related.
Air costa - you surely are not good enough to fly on certain routes like Tirupati where people make a lot of other reservations, and your frequent delays / cancellations will surely continue to upset them.
I won’t recommend this airline even if you get a better deal, better spend 20-30% more on other airlines which are more consistent with their service / schedule and will provide alternative arrangements.
