Air Costa

I have a connecting flight which is Air Costa from Chennai to Hyderabad on 11 March 2016(4:30 PM). Now its turn of Air Costa to play games with me.

None informed me about flight cancellation, but still they were insisting that my mobile is not reachable and unanswered, if it is that case, solution is simple’a text message’ or’a mail confirmation’

Reason for not sending text message:’Sir, we cannot send text messages to the passengers if phone is not reachable’,

then how do you inform the passenger that the flight is cancelled.

Reason for not sending text message:’Sir, as you have booked through MakeMyTrip we cannot send you email’

then how do you inform the passenger that the flight is cancelled.

I got to know that flight is cancelled on 10 March 2016. He said the amount will be refunded and you can book another flight, this is ridiculous, why will I spend 8k for next day, why should I be penalized when Air Costa flight is cancelled.

I told that I am going to post bad reviews on air costa, he was like Ok sir, but this is what we can do

Ok good, I asked them to provide accommodation in Chennai as I am travelling from Port Blair to Hyderabad. They said, they cannot provide hotel

I gave them 2 options

1. Provide accommodation if you are giving me next day flight

2. Provide me another flight on the same day

They agreed to none.

I made customer service to say over  the phone

"AirCosta is helpless, AirCosta neither provide flight on the same day nor accommodation.

AirCosta cannot do anything except money refund or can provide next day 5:00 am flight"

I told that I am going to post bad reviews on air costa, he was like Ok sir, but this is what we can do

I have choosen next day flight as the same day flight costs me bomb.

If flight is at 5:00 AM, one needs to be in airport by 3:30 am, one need to get up at 2:30 atleast which really messed up whole plan money and time

I lost

1. 5k for night stay

2. a day

3. sleep coz I got up at 2:30 am I highly do not recommend air costa if you want to have a planned and safe journey.
