I was flying from bangalore to Dimapur this year and I had to two flights to catch .Bangalore to Kolkata Air India 6.30-9.10 and from Kolkata to Dimapur(10.00-12.30) so I had a got a call a night before from Air india that the flight will be delayed for 30 mins and the departure is at 7 AM IST, I said ok and next morning I boarded the flight from bangalore asking air india customer service that if the flight is delayed 30 mins from bangalore and will I be able to board the flight from kolkata to dimapur and the air india customer service said yes and its a connecting flight with the same airways and it wont be an issue and luggage will not transferred it automatically and I hardly had a bag with few pair of clothes so I reached kolkata at 9.35 and I was heading towards the boarding for my next flight but they told me that the boarding gates are already closed and I had to fight with their manager and they didnt let me in and I told them that I received a call from your air service about the flight delay and they said the connecting flight will not impact but those guys didnt let me in saying that its my fault and they didnt refund the money, I had sent an email to corporate office and they had called me and refunded the money but they wasted my time and the complete day and I had to wait in kolkata for a day because we just have one flight a day to my place and next day I had travelled through Indigo and they really have good service
