I’m sad to say that Air India Express has a very poor service now. All the standards that they had, have gone down unbelievably. In my flight from Chennai to Colombo, we were served just Upma and Laddu. Ground Staff was not ready to excuse me at least for a 1 kg and asked for bribes for excess weight. (I was a Student Visa holder, completed my three years at Bangalore).
It was awful to hear the way that the ground staff member talk to us and shameful the way he asked to through the books of mine in to a dustbin (I had 25 Kgs in my main luggage). I had to pay for my extra 5 Kgs (5 X 135 INR) as I never go for bribing. I could have escaped by paying 200 - 300 to the ground staff officer.
But I never want to go for that. That is my LAST visit to India and LAST LAST journey in an Air India express flight !!!! That incident made me to dislike whole India.
