If one ever has to travel on Air India, one realises the futility of air travel. The experience starts with the Air India offices. The only slightly efficient one seems to be the Mumbai office. The biggest problem in the offices is the kind of agents they have. No knowledge, keep on having to ask superiors about everything, computer not working, etc. And then the experience at the Airport. They behave as if the economy class passenger is a burder on them. the local police station treats you better then the cabin crew on an average long-haul Air India flight.
One thing though. Air India, like all other GOI institutions, teaches you infinite patience. Zen and the art of waiting is perfected by them.
