I’ve read the reviews of Air India for the past five months since I booked our flight. It was the most reasonable and I just thought that since the dollar has gotten so weak, we would use the money saved on our vacation.
Prepared for the worst, I brought an interesting book to read, my electronic solitare game and an Ambien to put me to sleep. To my surprise, I found Air India to be one of the best flights we’ve ever travelled. Last year we were on Emirates and I really thought that AI did just as good a job as Emirates. We checked our luggage at JFK and everyone was pleasant and helpful, the flight left on time and we arrived in London a little before our scheduled landing.
The Boeing 777 was clean, the food was delicious and our experience on the return was exactly the same. In fact, I thought that probably quite a few people must have read the reviews of the airline and booked another airline because the plane was only 1/3 full so everyone had the opportunity to stretch out three across and sleep a good part of the trip. Wouldn’t hesitate to fly them again!
