My mother was travelling from New Delhi to Chicago on February 18, 2016 via Air India – AI 127. Her ticket number was 0162473494948 and she was travelling first class. When she reached the counter they told her they could not trace her PNR so she wouldn’t be able to board. and. guess what? They took away her wheel chair away from her!
There was a codeshare with United Airlines but none of the officials from either airline was willing to help an old lady who is over 77 and limped across counter to counter till the flight left. Thank you, Air India, for showing such courtesy to a senior citizen who is also handicapped.
