I must say they are very much lagging behind in service compared to any other international airline. Below is the example of me trying/tried for children meals for my kids, who are traveling in Executive class and neither they got on their outbound journey and for inbound travel it says as usual subject to availability! Even airlines like Bangladesh Biman give instant confirmation for such service for Economy class too. Wake up Air India! I am copy pasting the reservation and the message I got on their Website.
