I decided to travel from Bangalore to Hyderabad preferring Air India above indigo and spice jet. Little did I know about this corrupt airlines.
I was badly stuck in bangalore traffic and got only 2 minutes late. I was at the counter 43 minutes before flight departure, but the arrogant air india official told me that the check in for the flight is closed. When I spoke to the lady manager who was managing the air india desk, she did not even bother to look at me, forget listening. She was busy in speaking to couple of other travellers who had used some "sifarish/connections" to get their tickets issued, she looked very tense and gave them their tickets and even asked an official to escorted them to the aircraft. I had to spend my whole night at the airport and then took a morning Indigo flight.
This would have definitely not happened with a non-government/private airlines and this was definitely my last flight with Air india. They have lost at least 1 customer because of the apathy, arrogance and non-responsiveness in their behaviour.
I would give them a zero star but unfortunately system does not allow it.
