This has taken the India-based net total to Rs 44.30 crore( gross approx. is at Rs 63.29 crore) – this is also the Airlift opening weekend collection. With the foreign take added the overall tally rises to Rs 67.15 crore. The significance here is that Airlift has received a good word of mouth booster shot leading to increasing numbers of people willing to come to theatres to watch Akshay Kumar in action and this bodes well for the movie’s future too.
