Airlift is a story based on true incident.Its a story about the heroic step taken by indian government to evacuate more than one lakh seventy thousand indian citizen from a gulf country by airliftiing with the help of AIR INDIA and INDIAN airforce.
I am a great fan of akhsay kumar and till I saw its tailer I couldnt imagine that india has done such a huge evacuation.And it is the worlds largest evacuatioon till date by any country.So I was really excited to know more about our heroic history.
The story line is really solid and well organised.In this story AKSHAY KUMAR acted as RANJIT katyal, who is an indian origin rich bussinessmen in kuwait who stays with his wife AMRITA(NIMRIT KAUR) and daughter and their struggle when SADDAM HUSSAIN attacked KUWAIT.The story is all about all the incident that took place and how the indians working in kwait have no option than to return to india as the situation detoriates and how indian government react to the situation.
AKSHAY KUMAN acts really well and best suited for this role.This is one of the best movie of akhsay kuman and he really done a great work.he just acted it naturally and give the same space to other actors like NIMRIT KAUR, PURAB KOHLI and last but not the least PRAKASH balawedi.ALL this co actors really played a trementious role.their acting iis really natural and according to the situation.
Very limited songs like-soch and dill tujhe dedi both are very popular track.I really like the music and specially akshay kumar dance in dil tujhe dedi.The movie is soo good that it do not allow you to even blink your eyes as every moment of the movie is soo attracting and you love to stick to the screen.The movie is really a good treat for republc day, just go with yor frinds family, kids to watch it.once in a life time movie.A TRUELY FANTASTIC MOVIE.
