Worst ever experience

Don’t even consider getting it. Airtel are a bunch of cheats who have been looting the public ever since they entered the market. They are marketing 4g under the pretext of’unbelievably fast speed’. I’ll tell you what, the internet speed surely unbelievable, but unbelievably slow.


My 4g dongle device got activated on 31st August 2014. Ever since then my internet speed is very poor. I bet that even a 2g connection would have a better speed. The few times that I start getting a decent speed, my connection gets disconnected.


I raised a service request on 2nd September 2014. They assured me that someone would get in touch with within the next 48 hours. It has been 5 days since then, and no one has contacted me. I have trying to call on the dedicated 4g helpline(1800 1030405), but whoever picks up the phone says that this is not the 4g department and asks me to call on the dedicated 4g helpline, which is the same number that I had called in to(1800 1030405). After 20-25 minutes of arguing and being transferred to 4-5 departments, when I finally get connected to the proper department, they refuse to raise a new service request as I already have an open service request. When I tell them that no action is being taken to resolve my issue, they apologize and say that as per their process they cannot do anything about it.


They have taken an advance rental for 2 months and now it seems that I am stuck in a rut. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from Airtel, be it 4g or any other service. And please spread the word.
