I was visiting pune in june/jul 2007 and since internet is absolutely indispensable for me decided to go for their services and signed a contract for one month. I was approached by one of their sales rep. Named sanjay khotani , a real sweet-talker. He asked me to make a void cheque to airtel and i did and that i would be paying only for the month for which i would be using their services and no more.
After i left pune, i noticed on my bank statement i am being regularly charged the internet fees each month by airtel. I contacted sanjay khotani several times (from abroad, where i actually live) and he sent e-mail telling me that he would see to it that i got back my money and no more payments would be charged, again i noticed on my dec. Statement, i am charged the monthly amount by airtel. I call this "daylight robbery" .
All those payments are unauthorized payments. This company and its reps. Are total rip-offs, please be careful when dealing with them.
