After my terrible experience with BSNL BROADBAND, I switched over to TATA INDICOM BROADBAND. It was fine for some days. Then, I started facing problems in that too. I am a heavy internet user and I use internet for all my bill payment, bank transactions and mainly for share trading.
I faced frequent disconnection in BSNL AND TATA during share trading hours due to which I was unable to place orders in the exchange. But TATA was definitely better than BSNL BROADBAND. Then I decided to swith over to AIRTEL BROADBAND after I went through its reviews in MOUTHSHUT. Almost 80% of the reviews accepted AIRTEL as the best service provider in the BROADBAND CATEGORY.
Then I applied for their connection and I paid Rs.500/ initially. The sales person who took the order from me promised me that the connection would be provided within 5 days from the date of placing the order. He told me that normally AIRTEL takes only 3 days for installation. But as I live in an apartments; they were in a position to get permission from our apartment secretary for drilling and wiring purpose.
Due to the delay in getting permission from the secretary, I got the installation only after 10 days from the date of placing the order. This is the only delay I faced in their service. But I realized that it was not in their hands as the permission had to be obtained from the apartment secretary.
Then, the technical person came for the installation. We have to rate their installation in their installation software itself. After finishing it; I immediately got a call from AIRTEL regaring proper wiring, proper placement of land line and about my satisfaction of installation. Then, the sales person and the technical person gave me their numbers and told me to call them in case of any problem.
Now I am extremely satisfied with their connection and it is rocking. I haven’t yet faced a single disconnection and it’s extremely reliable. I have used both BSNL BROADBAND AND TATA INDICOM BROADBAND and in both of them the technical person and the sales person doesn’t even bothered to give their number to me in case of problem. They simply told me to call the customer care for all the queries.
This is where AIRTEL stands out in case of CUSTOMER SERVICE AND RETENTION. As I have used BSNL TATA and AIRTEL; I strongly recommend all of my friends to avoid both BSNL AND TATA and go for AIRTEL BROADBAND. Now I feel extremely satisfied about my decision to go for AIRTEL BROADBAND
