Hi this is Abhinandan Kamboj, Might be You must heard about Bharti IPTV, internet Protocol television, Airtel is the first one who Introduces Iptv in india. Im using it from last 2 months and its running smooth wid no prob so im here to share my views.
Requirement: you need a Dsl connection, mendatory. Tv and PC, they will give you land line Free with 100 local calls.Every month. A-A or A- to any local no.
Ammount: First charges: 1750 for DSL router, 2250 for WI FI dsl Router+ 500/- activation charges.(thats excluded tax). Tax will come in to ur first bill.(10%).
Quality of pic: Not so clear as DTH, but still 8 out 0f 10.
Quality of Sound: better den DTH. 10 out of 10.
it has 135 channels for which u have to pay 200/- month. Mean currently im using 1299+200=1499 plan in which I get speed of 512kb/s in day, 1 mbps at(10pm to 6am) Night. No download limit. But after 200gb of downloading and uploading. the speed will be half. in day the consumer will get 256kbps in nyt around 512kbps.ahh they had started it few months ago.
Special benefit of IPTV is TIME SHIFT TV.
ryt now they have 31 channels, including some HBO, Star movies, V, MTV, Star, ZEE, cartoon network, Neo sports, Zee cinema, shara one, Star tv, Set max, and many more. so u can access 7 days programme by pressing that Time shift button. These are pre recorded and available for 7 days only. so if u miss any of ur Fav. programme you can access it anytime. I love this. because some tym I Miss my fav. movies on Hbo, Star movies, and cant see wwe while late nyt or office hours and I see wenever im free.
thats y I throw away my DTH big tv. which is good for nothing. AND im using IPTV. Wothiest one ive ever being.
