I got my airtel brodband connection last month Rs 899 plan with 4Mbps speed n 6Gb download limit then 10paise per mb charge.I was very satisfied with the speed and the performance although I had to follow them for 3 weeks to get it installed but still it was fine after considering the results, downloading was going on at 350kbps actual speed.But few days back I got mt first bill and that too for 5 days and it had extra charges added on to it I was quite surprised coz I have not even downloaded a movie or was quite busy to use internet rather for that period my main usage was mainly Facebook but I have exceeded my limit of 6Gb then I realized that every time I open any page because of the good speed the data gets downloaded very fast n that’s why while browsing youtube or any site if I only press back button then most things get downloaded n which keeps on adding to the data.So its useless to take a 4Mbps limited plan as the service provider also told me that generally data limit exceeds n people are paying extra bill of 2000 bugs per month.If you want $mbps speed then pay more n get a unlimited plan these plans are wuite strategically made .
So I plan to switch to another plan which is 1099 rental with 1 mbps speed n unlimited download bt still there is a catch after 15gb download then speed will drop to 256kbps ..but no extra charges will be there. I have studied all the plans n I am sharing here
