I have airtel broadband for a year and my DSL is down for almost 10 days every 2 months since I got the connection. Airtel customer care is always difficult to reach and rude every singe time me or my wife talks to them. 1 out of every 2 complaints we log either mysteriously vanish or are closed without resolution. It too 6 months for airtel to figure that my router was faulty and another month from that time to replace it. Last month my line was dead for 15 days and they closed 2 complaints without fixing it.
Now there is no conscience towards helping a customer left in airtel which once took pride in its customer service. It is as big a pain to deal with airtel as with any other govt dept.
I have already applied for a BSNL DSL connection now and raised request to migrate me and my wifes cell numbers to Vodafone. Hope life will be better on that side.
