Airtel Broadband False Promises

It’s all about Airtel Broadband service in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.


While promoting the broadband connection, the marketing executives as well as the area sales executive are very kind and polite but after I got the connection the way they spoke makes me irritate. Coming to the fact, last month. I got an Airtel broadband 256 kbps unlimited connection through the area (Palavakkam, Chennai) sales executive. While registering the connection we told them we are planning to shift the home within 2 weeks so is it any problem of shifting the connection to the new home else you register now after two weeks you give us the connection to my new home, but the sales executive told us no sir don’t worry, if you are shifting within Chennai, we our self will take care of the shifting connection and it wont take more then a day to make the shifting, as we know there are formalities to shift so we ask them am we want to host some


shifting request to Airtel they told don’t worry sir, we are here know, why you


are worrying. We trusted them because I am abroad and my parents only their so my


parents don’t want to ask him any more questions because the promising words


mad us trust him as well as the Airtel service.


After we register, within a week they gave connection and they


checked properly, on that time also my parents requested them any how we are


shifting our house within a week so please made an arrangements, on that time


also they say don’t worry and he gave his number and told after you shift your


home please give me a call so within a day I will connect to you, then


everything gone well no issues on quality of broadband.


After a week we shifted to new home which is not more then 1


km from my old house and its is also the same area which come under the same


service people so my dad called him who is the sales executive got the payment


and everything, he didn’t picked his phone for sometime… later he called back


to my dad asked got a missed call who is this and my dad explained that we have


shifted to new house so could you transfer the Airtel broad band connection to


this new address for the he replied, we have lots and lots of procedure to


shift from one place to another so don’t disturb me now, so call me tomorrow,


as my dad is bit aged and physically no feeling good so my dad didn’t ask


anything further, dad told him ok sir I will call you tomorrow and requested


him do the needful ASAP but the sales executive didn’t responded properly and


disconnected the call,  next day my dad


called him and informed that about shifting, for that he told to my dad


shifting is no like playing game with kids lots and lots of procedure so don’t


disturb me anymore you call customer care and inform them about shifting, my dad


ask him other day you only promised me I don’t want to worry about shifting you


people will take care, for that he told that is a sales technique of Airtel, we


want you to get connection later that is not our problem this is your problem,


so if you want your internet connection shift don’t call me disturb me, call Airtel


customer care and host request, then my dad didn’t spoke with him anymore.


Then my dad called me this is the situation I don’t know


what to do. Then he called them and hosted shifting request with Airtel


customer care they promised to my dad that they will shift the connection within


2 working days… days went 2 days 3days… then I called Airtel and asked them


about the issue that I have registered for shifting for that I got same answer


within 1 working days… days went … then I called them again ask about the


issues they told, not yet registered for shifting here in customer care so the


guy from Airtel told he will register for shifting the connection and he told


there was not registered before so he gave some ticket number and complaint


number and I explained the whole issues what happen from day 1 to till date, he


also promised and asked a big sorry on behalf of Airtel and the sales


executive… then I told them I don’t want your sorry please make the shifting


procedure ASAP, he told it will happen within 2 working days…


Yet now what every promise I got from Airtel people full of


false promises…


For me lots of tension and as well as  spent around 1500 rupees to talk to customer


care people from abroad ISD calls… waste of everything…


Please dear friends don’t trust Airtel broadband peoples promises all of them give false promises, which won’t help us. Finally they want to achieve the target no customer service nothing, I  paid 1500 non refundable deposit so they are asking me to withdraw the account If I am not happy, what the hell is this paid 1500 non refundable deposit spent ISD calls to talk to Airtel Customer care 1500 not even used properly for a week…


Now they are saying if you are not happy with our service sorry sir you can withdraw our service…. What a reply…
