We have an Airtel Broad Band connection in Bangalore for the past 1 and half years...Whatever is the Speed, browsing... etc... I can write later.. But most importantly... the Emails sent from this Airtel broad band service.. from thier broadband account never bounce... it is guaranteed...!!!!!That means you just can’t know whether the mail has reached the recipient or not.
In most of the cases our clients complain that they have not received the Email.. and you did not get the bounce back message. If you use any other domains like... yahoo, rediff, sify, whatever, the failure intimation comes immediately, with Airtel it never. When We took up this issue with the customer care, they simply say... if at all there is any sintax error in email id ... it will be delivered to some other person anywhere in the world with that email id..... ..
What a reply... is it possible... that suppose instead of writing : abcd@rediffmail.com , I write abcd@redffmal.com .. and it will be delivered... NO..... anyway, We contacted the Nodal agency, the appellate of airtel ... for Karnataka and Kerala.... who in turn replied after several reminders that ... that facility IS NOT PROVIDED IN Airtel Broad Band. and they are working on it ...
And will update us as and when the facility is provided. ... .... and we pay Rs. 1100/ plus taxes permonth for this service. I think VSNL is better than this... which bounces the messages if not delivered.MY REQUEST TO AIRTEL BROAD BAND USERS having Broadband Id..
