If Airtel relationship guys ever read review in MouthShut_Official, here is my application number for reference - 454554)
Todays date: 28th Jan, 2012, place: Bangalore
Hi, I suffered a hell with my previous ISP, Tata Indicom for 3 years(will tell share th painful story another day). Had planned to take up airtel broadband, since had heard a good name of them through friends. 3 months back, I called up airtel customtakeouter support, they told they will do some site survey, thereafter, every week once one technical guy used to call up, asked my address, but never turned up or no reply from Airtel as well. Somehow I managed to get a contact of a technical person(a technical guy called Manjunath from Thippsandra) of airtel through one of my friend. I spoke to him and he promised that they will give me a connection in 3 working days.
The document verification guy came on 22nd Jan2012, I gave one month advance, documents all that are required and was promised a connection by 25th Jan2012. Then again on 23rd Jan i.e Tuesday I was told that they are giving me connection latest by 26th Jan2011(i.e. Thursday). I kept on calling them from Thursday i.e 26th morning, neither Manjunath nor any of his guys responded for some time, after few rounds of call finally by 1 pm Manjunath told due to some bull@#$% technical reason he cannot give me connection before 30th Jan, i.e next Tuesday. He was once telling the reason as some cable failure which will take them 4/5 days to fix(which is just a bluff as I had my friends having no cable failure problem in same area), at times he was telling, not many guys are in station and at times he was telling more installation are pending for them to be finished before my turn.
My question is:
Why do you fool customtakeouters by mentioning a date?
Why dont you do proper infrastructure study or check cable connectives before promising connection to a subscriber
Why do you lie after taking money from customtakeouter
I am hugely scared to take this connection now. They seem dangerous to me than Tata Indicom now. Morning shows the day. If this is start I dont know whats going to happen in near days.

Wow! its 29th Jan, and I am told by Airtel that they cannot give me connection as maximum subscribers in my area has exceeded. After taking money 999/- and all document proof, my photo, my time, my phone bills, they are uttering these crap. When I asked why they did not inquire about connectivity issues before getting my documents and cheque, they did not answer anything and I must say Airtel customtakeouter support executives are the ultimate misbehaving executives I have ever come across. I don know whether I am getting back my money now. Tried to contact nodal officer, unable to reach her, the help numbers provided in Airtel contact list will never take you anywhere. They are just fooling the customtakeouters. The biggest frauds in market.
PEOPLE, pls be never get any connection from these frauds. Sunil Mittal, your company sacks in its commitment values, service values and reliability.
