Airtel Fiber optic - 7 days downtime

Hello all,


I have been using Airtel normal broadband connection for last 6 years . Few highlights :

  1. Connection was reliable

  2. Complaint resolution time was minimum

  3. Speed was okay - not as promised either but not so bad .

I was told that Airtel fiber optic will give me better speed and reliability, so I discontinued my normal broadband and moved to fiber optic( I was told by sales person and customer care that I can not upgrade my current connection, I have to buy new one)My connection is only 7 days old but it was down from Sat 8:00 PM to Sunday 12:00 AM( more than 24 hours) and again on Tuesday 5:00 PM( so today) - I am writing this review using my 3G dongle


The service is also bad for fiber optic

  1. Follow up call is very late

  2. Resolution time is never 4 hours - at least in last two cases.

Please stay away from Airtel fibe optic .


Update: My connection is still down. It completed 7 days today
