Pathetic customer service

I moved in recently to B’lore and I contacted Airtel for a new broadband connection. I was impressed by the speed at which the relationship execs came to fill up the form. Firstly there were at least 5 different ppl who called me and was stating their month end targets. But either way I filled in the form and paid the Rs 500 for the initial deposit. I was told that within 3 working days I will get a new connection after surveying my location.


The relationship executive clearly told me that I had an airtel box in my apartment itself and would not be a problem at all. After 5 days I logged a complaint that there was nothing happ on my application, I got a call saying it cant be done and will need 5 more working days. Now after 2 weeks, I called the customer service desk and they were not willing to register another complaint nor give me a status. The customer care exe being so rude cut my call since I was insisting on the problem and register the complaint.


I had high regards for Airtel, now gone in d drain.....
