I bought it in June 2012. The USB device is white in colour, designed with red borders and is aesthetically pleasing. The blue light starts blinking once the service is active. Speed was good for me considering I stay in Kottivakkam, outskirts of Chennai. Videos in youtube were running smoothly. I am on the unlimited plan of Rs 950.
Problems arose when I visited my home in Kolkata. The light started to blink green and I was not able to surf. I called the customer service and as temporary solution they connected me to the 2G network there. This is the reason I have rated the service&support and connection reliability very good. It was very slow but at least I was able to surf the net. But after returning to Chennai I see signal strength remains less and speed is not as good as it used to be. I have told this to the customer support and the answer was it will improve soon as they are putting more towers.
Only problem is it offers the speed till 6gb and after that its dead slow. And also I feel that the 6GB burns out very quickly.
Pricing - It is on the higher side compared to others. Tata Indicom offers unlimited Rs 750 and good speed till 5gb. But Airtel has got that good customer support service.
If you are thinking of buying a 3G card without hassles, I suggest you to go for it. If price is on your mind, then look for other cheaper alternatives.
